The chemical structure in scent particles differ strongly in each situation.  Waste water scent particles are not the same as the scent particles you might find when you are spreading fertilizer on a field.  WVT Industries has developed different variants on our O-Scent product, adding small changes to deal with the specific scent particles and eliminate potentially toxic gases in each application.
